This event was planned for FE students. The major goals of this event were to raise students' awareness of cybercrimes and to create a fundamental grasp of cybersecurity. Mr. Upmanyu Jha was the session's speaker. He is a current Fr. CRCE final-year Computer Engineering student that is passionate about cybersecurity.

The main topics discussed were: Hacking, Types of Hackers, HTTP & Burpsuit Basics, Cyber Laws, Bug Bounty Programs and Cyber Security Roadmap, CyberCrime Awareness.

Introduction to Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking


Speaker: Mr. Upmanyu Jha

The event was organized for SE and TE Students. The objective of this event was to develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking. The speaker for the session was Mr. Upmanyu Jha. He is a current final year Computer Engineering student at Fr. CRCE and a cybersecurity enthusiast.

The main topics discussed were: Hacking, Types of Hackers, Cyber Laws, Bug Bounty Programs and Cyber Security Roadmap.

Bug Bounty + Web Application Security Workshop


Speaker: Mr. Upmanyu Jha

The workshop was organized for students of every year. The objective of this event was to develop a basic knowledge of Bug Bounty and CTF's. The speaker for the session was Mr. Upmanyu Jha. He is a current final year Computer Engineering student at Fr. CRCE and a cybersecurity enthusiast.

Day 1 consisted of activities on basics of Linux and various Linux commands. The prerequisite for the session was installation of Kali Linux which was thoroughly explained to the participants.

Day 2 revolved around understanding CTF's and a small exercise was shared with participants wherein they had to apply the things they learnt through the session and a solution was shared with them for better understanding.

He added on how one can protect themselves and their family or friends from Cybercrimes, basic social media guidelines, the do's and don'ts while exploring new things. Additionally, Cyber Laws and IT Acts were briefly touched upon.
